BTC IV Final Journal

I took the pictures on my iphone and edited them on microsoft picture viewer. I had to chop off certain portions of the picture to make the </= 500kb limit. Here are my pictures. I would like to give a big thanks to Tola/Ariya/all participants for making this happen. I have learned good eating habits and an understanding of how my metabolism/body works. 

Final results:

167 lbs (started challenge around 180 lbs). I never did the bf% but i'm guessing I'm around 20-25%.

Here are my final results. Overall, I am extremely happy with my results. I had a personal goal to hit 170 lbs.  Although my final weight is just under 170, I did come over 170 numerous times during the challenge. So I was very pleased with this.

So my weightloss during BTC has brought me to a total weightloss of 30 lbs since February...here are my final measurements from the challenge:

 

Weight: 134.5 (8 lbs lost)

BMI: 21.8 (down 1.2)

Body Fat %: 20.3% (down 3.4%)

Measurements:

waist: 26.5 in (-1 in)

I've been sick on and off for the past month so not much working out, but lots of soup.

Results:

Weight- 138.8 lbs (lost 10.2)

Waist- 29 in (lost 4.5 in)

Hips- 36 in (lost 2 in)

Body Fat- 27.1% (lost 7.1%)

Neck- 12.5 in (lost 1 inch!!!)

Shoulders- 40 in (gained 1 inch)

Biceps- 10.5 in (lost .5 in)  

Thighs- 23 in (lost 1.5 in)

Calf- 14.5 in (lost .5)

So I'm all done guys!  I didn't finish the last 2-3 weeks well.  I trained consistently, but what I didn't do so well was my eating habits.   I just lost my appetite by the end of it and also had alot of social events pretty much every weekend from the start of September which involved drinking alcohol and eating bad foods.  But overall I'm happy with my results. 

So I started the competition with..

Weight: 179lbs

Body Fat%: 16-17%

Finale!! The Legend!

Hello everyone!  It's been a long 12 weeks but I've finally made it to the end.  I just want to thank everyone who finished this challenge along with my family.  I started this challenge at 210lbs and ended today at 187lbs!

ONLY 5 DAYS LEFT?!

I can't believe there's only 5 days left until we have to submit our official end photos! I am nervous because I have not been consistent the past 3 weeks with my diet...oh noooo and I recently got sick 2 days ago and still trying to recover. I need to kick arse once this stupid cold goes away and I NEED TO  LAY OFF THE EXTRA CALS!!!

BTC IV Update

Hello,

It's been about a month and a half since the challenge and I feel good.  I've been keeping up with my diet and with the exception of last week my work outs as well.  I'm down to 129 lbs but I have not measured my Body Fat.  My BMI when I started was 25.2 now I'm at 23.6 definitely within the healthier range. 

I'm now trying to focus more on toning this month and hopefully the last few lbs won't be a problem. 

So far so good.  I hope every one is doing well.

Update: Luis' fight against genetics

I took some updated pics today. I wasnt able to get updated measurements, but I'll get them done tomorrow or so. I've been commited to my diet and workout plan since the second week the challenge started - the first week was a little rocky due to information overload. I kept reading new books and articles upon articles on different views and methods to bodybuilding which lead to very confusing workouts.

TLuu Update for Aug 28 2011

Hello, All!  I posted an update at the end of July but I guess I did it as a response and not as a real post, so here is one with a photo.  The photo is last weekend in Vegas.  Since then, I pulled out my wisdom teeth and my face doesn't reflect my true size, so we will take another photo later.  

Here are the updated numbers compared to the original numbers (sorry, Tiger; I thought 12% body fat was close to what I lost but I was way off-lol; maybe it will be prophetic).

UPDATE - I.KINDA.DO.WORK =0/

 Update: I dropped about 4-5 lbs and almost a full % of body fat but for some reason I don't feel like I've accomplished anything.  So for the last half, I will get with my coach and get a move on!!!

Ok guys, so I'm half way through the competition now.  Just finished week 6.  I finally manage to take some photos this morning (was half asleep) to share my progress.

I'm currently sitting on 175lbs and I think my body fat % is around 12%.  So I've lost some weight and shredded some body fat, so I'm approaching my goal body fat % of 8-10% with 6 weeks to go.
